A word about price
Traditional senior move managers typically bill by the hour — commonly $60–$125 an hour — and the moving company is still a separate bill on top of that. Simple Moves works differently: our coordination is a flat fee quoted in writing up front (packages from $299 — see pricing), and every partner service is itemized at what it costs. Your quote shows every number, so you can check it line by line before you commit to anything.

Common Questions
Are you a moving company?
No. Simple Moves is a move coordination service. Local moving companies and other vetted partners do the physical work; we plan, schedule, and manage the whole move.
Do I contract with the movers, or with you?
Both, for different things. You sign a coordination agreement with Simple Moves covering our planning and coordination work, for one flat fee. You contract with — and pay — the moving company and any other providers directly for their work. Simple Moves never takes a percentage of your move and never collects deposits on a provider's behalf.
What does the quote cost?
Nothing. Quotes are free and in writing. Our coordination fee appears as its own line in the quote — you only pay it if you book.
Who do I call if something goes wrong on move day?
Us — that's the point of a coordinator. If the issue is with a provider's work (for example, damage to an item), the claim runs against that provider under your contract with them, and we'll help you document it and point you to the right process. Simple Moves doesn't guarantee a provider's work.
Can family be involved from out of town?
Yes — that's one of the most common reasons people hire us. We keep your designated family contact updated at every step.
